Year 1
Maylysia she got 1 Gold and 1 Silver in

Bulgaria she got 1 Silver and 1 Bronze in
Masters class
She started
this at the age of 48, now she's 53 and more
determined to be the first USA Woman to take
medals in all 4 classes
This all
started at a little country 4-H fair in
Cornish NH. A friend challenged her and said
if she won he would buy her some fries.. she
entered and received her fries. A couple
of years after that she went down to a
practice with Granite Arms and have been
with this team ever since. Her coach and
mentor Badger Drewes started this team 30+
years ago. As a result of her time competing
in this sport she has been proud to stand on
the podium at the World Arm wrestling events
6 times. 3 times for gold 2 for silver and 1
for bronze. She feels very blessed to have
had the success she has had in the past 5
years
On April 6,
2018 she traveled to Southbend, Indiana to
compete in the USAF National Championships.
There she entered 5 categories and brought
home 5 more gold medals. This has now
qualified her for the 40th World competition
which is to be held this year in Antalya,
Turkey in mid October, 2018. With the
addition of these medals it now puts her
count at 17 gold medals for just the USAF
competitions, she now has more of these than
any other woman in the USA |
